Russell Jarmer is a Ph.D. student in the Nuclear Engineering program at the Colorado School of Mines under Dr. King in the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering department. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. His current research focus is qualitative analysis of cracks in nuclear fuel cladding materials using radiography. Other topics of interest include reactor design and neutron activation analysis. Outside of school, he enjoys playing tennis and exploring Colorado.
